How we check the information
Applicant-tool source evidence was reviewed on 2026-10-24. The next factual review is due by 2026-11-24.
What a checked date means
We compare the information shown with the cited publication or listing. A listing check does not confirm that a course is accepting applications or has places available.
Course requirements
Admissions information starts with the current Dental Schools Council booklet. Where a checked university page differs, we show a dated correction and link to that source. Unverified older rules are omitted. Requirements vary by course, entry year and applicant circumstances; the matcher does not decide eligibility.
Nursing and hygiene/therapy
GDC qualification and programme information is kept separate from NEBDN teaching-provider listings. A provider listing, a qualification award and approval for a particular intake are different things. Delivery formats are those stated in the listing and may need confirmation with the provider.
Pay and travel estimates
Salary presets use the NHS dental pay circular. Tax, pension and loan rules have a stated tax year. The result is an annualised estimate rather than a payroll guarantee. Travel distances use existing mapped locations and postcode centres; scheme anchors and approximate site locations are labelled. Journey times and costs are entered by the visitor.
Keeping sources current
Monthly source checks look for changes, unavailable pages and overdue reviews. A changed source requires review before its new information is accepted. Unknown information stays unknown.
Sources and corrections
Source links and dates appear on the relevant pages. About this independent site and how to suggest a correction.
